Amara Reta

Amara Reta (° 1980, Turnhout) graduated in 2005 with a Master’s in Dramatic Art from RITS, Brussels. Her thesis won the audience award at the Voix Gras festival in Leuven. As a theatre actress, she appeared in productions by, among others, Villanella, Le Bjarne Riss Ensemble and Het Paleis. Amara regularly collaborated with Hanneke Pauwe (Falsh, Rendez-vous, Peepshow) and she also participated in The Bult and The Beautiful, which was selected for the Theater Festival in 2007, as one of the most striking performances of that season. Since 2006, Amara has performed various (guest) roles in numerous Flemish television series.
